Becky Jorgenson, MA, NCTM, LPCA
Becky Jorgenson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, working towards full licensure. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy and Minors in Psychology and Voice from Campbell University in 2004 and a Master of Arts Degree in December 2009 in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. In addition to teaching music lessons since 2002, Becky has been actively working with children, teenagers, and young adults in crisis through group and individual settings at various mentoring programs, residential settings, and a local pregnancy center. Her graduate and master’s level counseling experience consist of outpatient and day treatment counseling services since May 2009.
Throughout the treatment process, Becky uses a primarily cognitive-behavioral approach and enjoys incorporating music, art, and play therapy. Her primary clientele are children (ages 4+), adolescents, and young adults, and treatment areas include: Trauma; Post-Abortion Stress; Abuse; Anxiety and Depressive Disorders; Childhood Disorders, Eating Disorders; Self-harm; and Spirituality.
Becky is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association and its following divisions: Association for Creativity in Counseling, American College Counseling Association, Association for Specialists in Group Work.
